More than 140 Oshki-Wenjack grads cross the stage

The institute’s hybrid model lets students earn credentials while staying connected to work, family and home communities.

Chill players and fans catch Canada's World Cup opener together

Thunder Bay Chill players, coaches and young fans packed Montana’s on Friday to watch Canada open its World Cup against Bosnia and Herzegovina — a 1-1 draw rescued by Cyle Larin’s 78th-minute equalizer. Next up for Canada: Qatar on June 18 and Switzerland on June 24.

Inquest jury calls for the Thunder Bay Jail to close

The city wants your take on its urban forest

Thunder Bay’s new urban forester is asking residents to weigh in on tree planting, boulevard trees and the future of the city’s canopy as a review of the 2011 urban forest plan gets underway. The survey is open until June 19.
